Accountable Leadership. Real Solutions. For Craven County.
Putting People Over Politics.
Putting People Over Politics.
I’m Jameesha Harris — a proud wife, mother, and community advocate. For nearly 20 years, I’ve called New Bern home, leading with service and community focus. Now I’m running for District 3 as an Unaffiliated Candidate — focused on accountability, transparency, and putting people over politics.
→ Every child deserves access to safe, well-funded schools, strong mental health support, and teachers who have the resources they need to succeed.
→ Support small businesses, expand job training and apprenticeships, and attract employers who will create good-paying jobs for Craven County residents.
→ Protect and support those who served — with better access to healthcare, housing, and job opportunities, including strong support for military families.
→ Strengthen public safety, expand mental health and addiction recovery services, and invest in affordable housing and healthcare access across Craven County.
→ Invest in flood resilience, protect clean water, and upgrade rural infrastructure like broadband and roads, preparing Craven County for a stronger future.
→ After serving our community firsthand, I realized the real issues we face aren’t about being Republican or Democrat— they’re about people.
That’s why I’m running Unaffiliated: to put Craven County first and make sure people always come before politics in every decision.
We’re gathering signatures to get Jameesha Harris on the ballot as an Unaffiliated Candidate for NC House District 3.
So far, 300 Craven County voters have signed!
