I’m Jameesha Harris — a proud wife, mother, community advocate, and dedicated voice for Craven County. Since making this my home in 2010, I’ve worked alongside neighbors, organizations, and local leaders to uplift our community and bring real solutions to the people who live here.
My journey has always been rooted in service. From being the youngest woman ever elected to the New Bern Board of Aldermen, to advocating for small businesses, public education, and economic opportunity, I’ve led with the belief that leadership starts by listening — and showing up.
I understand the challenges families in District 3 face because I’ve lived them — as a wife, mother, working professional, and resident of Craven County. We need leadership that’s accountable, transparent, and puts people over politics.
That’s why I’m running for the North Carolina House of Representatives, District 3 — not as a Democrat or Republican, but as an Unaffiliated Candidate who will represent all of Craven County. This campaign is about real representation, real results, and a government that answers to the people — not political parties.
